A w niedzielę, 28 czerwca zapraszam po południu od godz. 16.00 do 20.00 do Brzeskiego Ratusza (1 piętro) lub – przy sprzyjającej pogodzie – do Restauracji Wozownia przy ul. Piastowskiej 6 (zatańczymy wtedy w letnim ogrodzie przy Parku Centralnym) na pożegnalną milongę.

Zagram tam piękne kawałki złotej ery z kilkoma niespodziankami. Proponuję na to niedzielne popołudnie klasykę „złotej ery” tanga: „La edad de oro del tango”. Poprzez głębokie, bliskie i delikatne objęcie oraz klasykę D’Arienzo, Di Sarli czy Troilo przeniosę Państwa do lat 30. i 40. oraz w klimat jak z mojego ulubionego Rodriguez Club w Buenos Aires, gdzie czas się zatrzymał.

I have been dancing and have been fascinated by tango for 20 years. I have been teaching and DJing for several years. I have always loved music, jazz, and classical pieces. In tango, I am captivated by its history, melody, and the emotional dilemmas of the heart. Sometimes I revisit Fogg and Aston. I love it when people in Cuba dance to Fogg, and people in Poland dance to Omara Portuondo. I have been a co-organizer of the Tanguearte weekend in Havana for 8 years. I am actively involved in the tango scene and education both in Havana and Pennsylvania. Every year, I return to Brzeg from my home state of Pennsylvania.

On Saturday, June 27th, at 10:30 AM, I invite you to a Flash Mob on Długa Street near the Bombonierka Bakery —where I will play tangos and waltzes for both dancers and spectators—joyful, atmospheric, and above all, full of mood. And on Sunday, June 28th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, I invite you to the Brzeg Town Hall (1st floor) or, weather permitting, to the Wozownia Restaurant at 6 Piastowska Street (where we will dance in the summer garden next to Central Park) for a farewell milonga.I will play beautiful tracks from the Golden Age with a few surprises. For this Sunday afternoon, I propose the classics of the "Golden Age" of tango: "La edad de oro del tango". Through a deep, close, and tender embrace, and the classics of D’Arienzo, Di Sarli, and Troilo, I will transport you back to the 1930s and 1940s, creating an atmosphere straight out of my favorite Rodríguez Club in Buenos Aires, where time has stood still. See you in Brzeg! There will also be no shortage of hot dance cortinas, sometimes with Cuban rhythms! See you there!

I have been dancing tango for quite over twenty years. Almost from the very beginning, I was also involved in playing and organising tango, simply because back then there were no milongas in my city yet.

Jeśli chodzi o tango w Polsce to można mnie określić mianem dinozaura. Jestem w nim od początku i widziałem wszystkie metamorfozy. Zawsze szukam najpełniejszego wyrażenia muzyki w tańcu. Patrząc z perspektywy widzę, jak przez te wszystkie lata w  naturalny sposób moje tango ciążyło do czasów Golden Age i okresów wcześniejszych.  Uwielbiam tańczyć w bliskim objęciu i wybieram muzykę, która najpełniej i w naturalny sposób pozwoli budować relacje i przeżywać emocje. 

When it comes to tango in Poland, I can be described as a dinosaur. I've been there since the beginning and I've seen all the transformations. I am always looking for the fullest expression of music in dance. Looking back, I see how over the years my tango has naturally gravitated towards the Golden Age and earlier periods.  I love dancing in close embrace and I choose music that will allow me to build relationships and experience emotions in the most complete and natural way.

Muzyka, którą wybiera, jest często słyszana na berlińskich milongach, a także na scenach krajowych i międzynarodowych. Grał sety na kilku imprezach Encuentro Milonguero. Jego wybór muzyki idealnie odpowiada jego tanecznym preferencjom: jest żywiołowa, radosna i mocna – ale może też zawierać nutę melancholii i dramatu, które wciąż rozgrzewają serce. Since he heard his first tango more then 20 years ago, he loves Argentine tango music which he since then collects, both to dance and listen to.  The music he selects, is often heard on Milongas of Berlin as well as on the national and international scenes. He played sets on several Encuentro Milonguero events.  His choice of music exactly matches his dancing preferences: lively, joyful and strong music - but it may also contain a hint of melancholy and drama still warm at heart You sure get a selection of the finest pieces of music from the 'Epoca de Oro'. His goal is to see people smiling and enjoying the dance and music.
